The assets include a 145,000 sqft. fabrication and office facility located on 13.9 acres in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Baxley Equipment was started in 2004 by Chris Raybon when he re-opened the 41,250 sqft. plant in Baxley, Georgia. He was joined later in 2004 by long time partners Pat Conry and Russell Kennedy. In January of 2005, a group was formed to purchase the assets of Hi-Tech Electronics. The group includes thirteen stockholder employees; Paul Caple, Ronnie Clem, Lamar Currington, Patrick Flemming, John Oliver, Joey Rogers, Donna Smith, Jada Smith, Philip Stevens, Ronnie Stewart, Darrell Taylor, Chris Taylor and Andy Trantham. According to Kennedy, "The employee ownership of Baxley Equipment makes us unique as an O.E.M. in the forest products equipment business. Company Description:
In 1915 Oscar Onsrud and his son Rudy took woodworking to a new level when they built the world's first "Jet Motor" (air turbine) hand router. Since that day, the Onsrud family has become synonymous with routing. Virtually every aircraft built for the U.S. war effort in WWII had parts made on Onsrud routers. Most of those machines are still in use today! Almost every M-1 rifle stock built in the Springfield Armory was made on an Onsrud machine. It is difficult to walk through any major furniture plant worldwide without finding an Onsrud machine in service. In 1976 we raised the standard again when Charles Onsrud patented the "Inverted Router™", an idea and a machine that revolutionized the woodworking industry, increasing safety and usability. Today our CNC routers are quietly revolutionizing the concept of value by giving you the best-performing machines in the industry at a cost that our competitors say is not possible.

Company Description:
William Cleereman was a lumberman. Before the turn of the century, he operated a sawmill at Green Bay, Wisconsin. Like all sawmills in the early days, the longer you ran in one spot, the further you got from the timber supply. As the hunt for logs expanded over greater distances, railroads began to figure more prominently in the business plans of sawmills. William Cleereman looked north to Green Bay to the untouched stands of timber in Forest County. His first land purchases in 1889, changed the course of the Cleereman family history, and indirectly made a tremendous impact on the sawmill industry that continues to this day. The logs produced from the first tracts he purchased in Forest County were delivered by rail, starting with the fledgling Soo Line RR, and after various connections arriving in Green Bay. When the Chicago and Northwestern pushed a direct line north from Green Bay, the door was open for a more profitable operation from the stands already owned and from new acquisitions.
